*Chelsea Ainsworth, one of our guest artists and one of Christy Curtis' former students, will be attending Julliard in the fall of 2006. She is currently at NC School of the Arts.
*Allen Cooper, a guest artist and former Christy Curtis student, is now on faculty for SHOCK the Intensive.
*March 2006: The Core performing company danced at the ACC tournament and were in the Durham Herald Newspaper for their outstanding performance. They also performed at the half-time of an NC State basketball game.
*Allen Cooper (guest teacher and former student) and Martha Nichols traveled to Los Angeles to perform in Carnival at The Key Club in early 2006. Janet Jackson and Gwen Stefani were a couple of the celebrities in attendance!
*Angela Brickhouse, student and teacher auditioned in NY for Twyla Tharp’s new show coming to Broadway. Twyla also choreographed “Moving Out”, the hit Broadway Show with all Billy Joel songs. Angela was one of 3 called back during the audition. It is an honor to have a private audition with Twyla!
